Do you ever feel like other kids know a secret formula for making and keeping friends . . . but nobody told you
how to do it? Getting along with your peers takes skills like listening, empathy, assertiveness, and resolving
conflicts. The good news is that those skills are things you can learn! We’ll give you fresh ideas for relating to
others, then practice them using role-playing and other techniques drawn from the world of theatre. Prepare for
the new school year by equipping yourself with stronger social skills! Please note: Students will be expected to
share short roleplaying scenarios in front of their peers who are enrolled in the camp. If your child is very shy,
this may not be the best environment for them.

fiction by combining storytelling, design, and science fiction to imagine future worlds—and create prototypes of
objects that might exist in them.
