This Highlands-Douglass neighborhood farmers market goes until December 19th!

The popular circle of local food, music, art, independent business, and community events is located on the historic property of Douglass Boulevard Christian Church at 2005 Douglass Boulevard 40205 in the Highlands.

  • We are a rain or shine market unless weather is unsafe.
  • Free parking in the church lot or along side streets is available.
  • There are public restrooms available.
  • We are a dog-friendly market meaning friendly dogs on leash with their families.

We offer something that is crucial in the summertime which is an arbor of abundant shade and an endless supply of free water and cups from Louisville Pure Tap. Join us for vibrant  community interaction, farm fresh foods, crafted home and garden products, safe playgrounds, picnic seating, and live music.

We are honored to be part of the many Kentucky Proud markets throughout the Commonwealth since 2011.

We ask visitors to keep up with our vendor information and event schedules by using our Douglass Loop Farmers Market page on Facebook. Other information and vendor links can be located on our website at www.douglassloopfarmersmarket.org.

We are grateful for the support of all the moving parts in this market, they keep the health and wealth of Kentucky thriving!

We encourage people in all neighborhoods throughout  Kentucky and Southern Indiana to enjoy the farmers markets in their neighborhoods.

Business Review

"Not many markets have the canopy of trees that we do and we are certainly grateful for that in the classically hot and humid summers. We also have level area parking in the church parking lot as well as a vendor's parking area to make more room for customers. We have two playgrounds which were originally here on the church and school property, one is for a bigger kids the other for toddlers. I'm glad that we are off the streets far enough from Bardstown Road and Douglas Boulevard to keep our kids safe!" ~ Cindy Lamb, DLFM Co-manager
